Refund policy

At 1219 Avenue, every order is packed with great care and attention to detail. We truly value the trust you place in us and always want you to have a smooth and happy experience with our brand. That said, since many of our products are fragile, customized, or made-to-order, we have a few important guidelines in place to ensure fairness for everyone.

We request you to please read this policy carefully.


1. Return Eligibility

We will be happy to assist you with a return or replacement only in the following situations:

  • If the product you received is damaged

  • If the product you received is defective

  • If the product you received is incorrect

To help us resolve this quickly for you:

  • Please report the issue within 48 hours of delivery

  • The product should be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging

  • Kindly share valid proof as mentioned in Section 3

We sincerely request your understanding that products which show signs of use, wear, or damage after use will not be eligible for return or refund.


2. Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products, the following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Customized or personalized products

  • Items purchased during clearance or sale offers

  • Gift cards

  • Perishable items (if applicable)

  • Products damaged due to customer handling, misuse, or negligence

We truly appreciate your understanding, as many of these items are prepared specially for you.


3. Mandatory Unboxing Proof

Since we deal in fragile and premium products, we kindly request you to please record an unboxing video while opening your package.

In case of any damage, defect, or wrong item:

  • The video should be continuous and uncut

  • It should clearly show:

    • The sealed package

    • Opening of the package

    • The product and the issue

If an unboxing video is not available, we may request additional verification. We promise to review such cases fairly, though approval will be at the discretion of 1219 Avenue.


4. How to Raise a Return / Replacement Request

If you face any issue, please reach out to us at: orders@1219avenue.com

Kindly share:

  • Your Order ID

  • Your registered mobile number

  • Clear images and/or unboxing video

  • A brief description of the concern

Our team will carefully review your request and get back to you within 24–72 working hours.


5. Replacement Policy

  • Once your request is approved, we will arrange a pickup or a reshipment for you

  • The replacement will be dispatched after the returned item is picked up and inspected

  • If the product is unavailable or out of stock, we will offer you either:

    • Store credit, or

    • A refund (for eligible cases)

  • if the product received is damaged, defective or in a used condition, then it will impact the return, refund or exchange process (as applicable) 

6. Refund Policy

Refunds are processed only in cases of:

  • Damaged product

  • Defective product

  • Wrong product sent

Once approved:

  • The refund will be processed to your original payment method

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider


7. Store Credit and Special Case Returns

In some rare or special situations, a return or refund may be approved as a goodwill gesture or for reasons other than damage, defect, or wrong item. In such cases, the return will be processed as store credit or a partial refund.

We request your kind understanding that, in such special cases, the following charges will be deducted from the refund or store credit amount, as applicable:

  • Forward shipping charges

  • Return shipping charges

  • RTO (Return to Origin) charges, if any

  • COD charges, if any

  • Customization or personalization charges, if any

This helps us continue offering fair pricing and high-quality products to all our customers.


8. Shipping Charges

  • If the issue is due to an error from our side (damaged, defective, or wrong item), we will, of course, bear the shipping cost

  • In all other approved special cases, shipping and related charges will be adjusted as mentioned above


9. Cancellation Policy

  • Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled

  • If you wish to cancel a COD order, please do so within 1 hour of placing the order

  • Once a prepaid order is placed, it cannot be cancelled
  • Customized or personalized orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed, as they are made specially for you


10. A Gentle Note

1219 Avenue reserves the right to decline any return, replacement, or refund request if:

  • The request does not meet the policy guidelines

  • The product has been used, altered, or tampered with

  • Required proof is not shared

To protect our small business from misuse, repeated or suspicious return requests may lead to restriction of the account.
