What started with a single glass sipper has now grown into a full range of thoughtfully designed drinkware, accessories, and personalized pieces loved by customers across India and beyond.

Our Story -1219 Avenue
What started as a dream between two 19-year-olds slowly turned into something much bigger than we ever imagined.
Hi, we’re Rithik & Smarpita, the founders of 1219 Avenue. Back in 2019, we were just a young couple with a shared vision — to create something of our own. No big investments, no external backing — just belief, hard work, and a small room in our home where it all began.
Our very first product?
A simple glass sipper with basic printing.
That tiny room soon couldn’t hold our growing dreams. Within just 3 months, we moved into a small 1BHK office. Six months later, we upgraded to a 3BHK workspace. And within another 6 months, we took one of our biggest leaps — setting up our own 300 gaj factory.
Every step came with risks. Every step came with growth.
Smarpita has always been the creative soul behind everything you see — from designs to product aesthetics. Rithik focused on building the operations, finances, and systems that keep everything running smoothly. Together, we built 1219 Avenue piece by piece.
We didn’t start with big machines or fancy setups.
We started with a single plotter.
Over time, we reinvested every rupee we earned — upgrading to industrial UV printers, laser machines, and advanced production setups. We learned everything hands-on. From designing and printing to packing and dispatching — we did it all ourselves in the beginning.
As we grew, so did our team.
From hiring our first packer to building a team of 15 amazing people today — including skilled applicators, designers, product listers, and advertisers — each person has played a role in shaping this journey.
What makes this journey even more special is how we built it.
Every single rupee invested into 1219 Avenue came from:
Tuition classes we took
Freelance work we did
Assignments we completed
And later, calculated risks through bank and NBFC loans
We never relied on family funding — this brand has been completely self-built, self-funded, and self-sustained from day one.
In 2025, we got married — and today, we continue to grow not just as business partners, but as life partners too.
1219 Avenue is not just a brand for us.
It’s a story of resilience, learning, late nights, risks, and belief.
